hours of your time on Wednesday evenings working with children ages K-6th grade.
Small Group Leader - 2-4 times a month
Are you interested in starting a small group in your neighborhood?Woodbury Community Church would love to see small groups begin within a few miles of every family in our church.Groups meet at least two times per month at a time that is convenient for group members.WCC can help provide curriculum for a number of different types of Bible Studies.Training sessions for Group Leaders will be held four times per school year.
This person will work with the Youth Pastor to plan and prepare weekly games for Sunday night ROCK.This will include brainstorming fun and unique games that everyone will be able to participate in.This person will
also co-lead the game time with the Youth Pastor every Sunday night.This position requires 2+ hours of prep time (depending on games and set-up required).
ROCK Kitchen/Snack Coordinator - Sundays, 6:30-8:30 pm
This person will be responsible for working with the Youth Pastor in planning and preparing or soliciting from outside sources snacks and foods for Sunday Night Rock.This should take no more than 2 hours a week in addition to Sunday evenings.
ROCK Jr. High Community Group Leader - Sun. 6:30-8:30 pm
Two people are needed to be responsible for leading our Jr. High small group sessions at the end of our Sunday night ROCK lesson.Responsibilities including reading the questions and lesson prep material before we meet to familiarize yourself with text and be prepared to answer the needs of our students.You will work with the Youth Pastor in helping facilitate the practical application of Sunday night lessons.Prep time is approximately 2 hours per week in addition to Sunday nights.

Coffee Servers - Sundays, 8:45-11:45 am
People are needed to help set-up, serve & clean-up the coffee served in the lobby on Sunday mornings. This is a very easy position and provides an opportunity for you to visit with friends and meet new people. If you are unable to serve the whole morning, this can be split into two shifts coinciding with the two services (9:00 & 10:30). Liz Nygren and Amy Rodriguez are the chair people for this ministry and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Prayer Ministry Team - Sundays, 10:00 or 11:30 am
Woodbury Community Church believes that prayer is a vital part of our church and our Christian life. This ministry serves in many ways and we have a team of individuals with the gift of intercession who are prepared to pray for any need or share any special word of praise. As a member of the prayer team, you would be asked to serve as a Prayer Room attendant approximately once every two months and participate in special prayer services for our church and our community. Pam Faessler is the chair person for the Prayer Ministry Team and would be happy to meet with you to answer any questions you may have.
Greeter Ministry Team - Sundays, 8:40 or 10:10 am
Woodbury Community Church welcomes any person who wishes to be a Greeter on Sunday mornings. We are always looking for cheerful believers to greet members and visitors that come through our doors. As a Greeter, you would be asked to greet at either the 9:00 or 10:30 service and on special occasions (ie, Christmas, Easter, etc.). Our Greeters also help with the offering collection during the service. Currently, our greeters serve once a month at one of the two services. Roger Proch is the chair person for the Greeters Ministry Team and would be happy to meet with you to answer any questions you may have.
